October is the month of the Oktoberfest – not only in Germany but in many countries around the world.
This year we celabrated our very first Oktoberfest on October 22nd at Schwarzmann European Kitchens.
Of couse we tried to be as authentic as possible from Beer to Bratwurst and beyond. Our guests enjoyed our homemade breads, soft-pretzel sticks, butter with fresh herbs, a cheese dip called “Obatzda”, fresh Bratwurst with Sauerkraut and Florentiner cookies – everything made from scratch, from farm to table and freshly prepared by Chef Stella from Basil Personal Chef on our Gaggenau Teppanyaki Grill and Induction Cooktop.
What is a Teppanyaki?
The Teppanyaki Grill from Gaggenau is the appliance of our choice when it comes to German Bratwurst.
It provides the experience of an old Japanese cooking tradition and brings it directly to your home. The metal griddle is smooth and seamless and provides a temperature accuracy of up to 464°F for searing meats perfectly. Two 1,500 watts powered cooking zones allow you to cook or keep fodd warm either on one or both halfs of the griddle while using almost no oils or other fats.
