Michael and his team delivered a clean, sensible, uniquely tailored design to recreate/maximize the efficiency of our kitchen. He consistently exceeded our expectations with thoughtful personalized solutions that illustrated he understood how we used the space, and delivered the quality of European and German engineering well within our budget and on schedule. Our experience with Michael was not only stress-free but simply enjoyable.
My wife and I can be pretty demanding and are often on two ends of the design spectrum, so we relied on Michael 100% to:
1) Help us understand our budget and develop a timeline,
2) Understand our (very different) tastes and come up with a design that is appealing to both of us and is “uniquely ours” – a task I thought was impossible;
3) Ensure that the design is as beautiful as it is functional, and will be able to last for years to come through several stages of life, and
4) Complete the project on time and within budget, despite our crazy lives and schedules.
Creating our dream kitchen and seeing that vision brought into reality happened without incident, was painless and stress-free. My wife and I are busy professionals, and Michael and his team were incredibly patient with us to make decisions, provide alternatives, develop solutions to design challenges we created for him, find a time to meet, and even helped coordinate deliveries, paint jobs, and installations…we honestly couldn’t do it on our own without his expertise, hard work, professionalism, and kindness.
Michael was always mindful of our budget and provided helpful suggestions and referrals that resulted in us saving money on other projects unrelated to his.
We cannot say enough good things about the quality, precision, beauty, utility, and engineering behind Michael’s designs and vision.
Major home renovation can be an overwhelming and stressful undertaking, most typically have hiccups, false starts, delays, and sometimes even outright failures. Through it all, you keep asking yourself the same question: “Is this really worth it?” (Yes) As you dwell within the finished product that is your new home and assess the decisions that lead to where you sit today, you ask yourself, “Did I make all the best choices that I could have?” (Yes thanks to Michael’s suggestions) For some things, you might second guess, for others you might know absolutely that you could have done better (i.e. my warming drawer decision). But one thing we I know for certain that I did right when I began renovating my home was hiring Schwarzmann European Kitchens.
